As you probably know, Harry is a big fan of Star Wars. I think she’d be celebrating today with her well-worn copies of Episodes IV, V and VI, a huge bowl of buttery popcorn, and of course, her partner in crime, Tess. Or maybe they might have already rushed out and bought their copy of Force Awakens. I can almost hear the arguments now over which movie was better A New Hope or Force Awakens. What do you think?
A shudder passed through Kimi’s body as she remembered the night before. God, she needed to get laid. Shaking her head, she grinned to herself at the thought and reached behind her back to find the pull cord attached to the zipper of her wetsuit. The neoprene suit had been one of the best things she had packed when she left Honolulu. Without it, she doubted if she could have continued her daily morning swim ritual; the water was just too cold on this side of the Pacific. She tugged on the cord, cursing at the zipper which habitually got stuck.
“Hey there, need a hand with that?” The voice was deep and smooth. Kimi turned in surprise and came face to face with the speaker’s Adam’s apple. She looked up, shading her hand from the sun to see his face. He was tall, lean and tanned, or maybe he just naturally had a darker skin tone. He wore a day or two’s worth of whiskers, but they only helped to give him that sexy bad-boy look. The crown of curly, blonde hair only added to the effect.

When life gives you brownies, make coffee.
Angharad ‘Harry’ Russo has had a busy week. She’s fended off a swarm of pixies, battled blood-thirsty redcaps and put an end to a maniacal Fae prince hell-bent on eradicating the entire werewolf population. She’s also decided to open a coffee shop. Is it too much to ask for things to settle down so her life can go back to normal?
Apparently it is. As if being metaphysically bound to Cian Nash, the most aggravating yet desirable man she’s ever met, isn’t enough, Harry’s just found out that the Magister, the biggest, baddest vampire around, is her father. Talk about your daddy issues!
Harry just wants to concentrate on getting the coffee shop open, but between the freaky ghosts that keep haunting her and rogue vampires terrorizing the city, it looks like normal is a thing of the past.

I’m not particularly a girly-girl, so I’ve had to resort to the internet to get wardrobe ideas when writing (I could really use a personal shopper like Salvador uses to dress Harry). One of my favourite sites to find the latest in high-end formal dress is Harrod’s. They have a great website and I have relied on it heavily to find outfits for Harry’s adventures. A new site I have recently discovered, is Polyvore. I’m a complete newbie and I’m sure I’m not going to be hired as a fashionista any time soon, but even I have to admit, it’s kind of fun to pull together outfits. I’ve created a few for Harry. Check them out!
